My New Camera Bag!!!

So I Finished my crocheted camera bag for my new camera! I'm so excited! I can't believe how good it came out. It only took me about 3, 30 minute sessions over two days. This is only my second crochet project, the first was a scarf and that took about two weeks. It also doesn't look good at the beginning where I was still getting the hang of crocheting. But this bag is definitely good all around. Does anyone else have some fun projects for a novice? Have a good night! Ciao!

Crochet Day!

So today I was definitely in crochet mode. After staying up til 4 this morning (drama, drama, drama), I was certainly not in the mood for any real activity. Instead we watched the new hilarious movie, Chuck and Larry, and I crocheted more of my scarf. This is my first attempt at crochet. I really like it though and am already planning more projects. I will get some pics of my work in progress, but I am getting a little sleepy so nothing like that tonight. I am also very distracted after so many things have made me really examine my life. At a funeral tonight I realized how precious life is and how it really can be cut short. Make every MINUTE count!

OK so what do you do when you fins something out that everyone should know but it would ruin some one's life? I feel like I (and others) have just discovered something so unbelievable. I never imagined I would be right. But when it's scary you don't want to be right. So I'm in a state of shock and surrealism. What is some inspiration you have found lately?

So the goal for today is to actually get all my work done and do something fun for me! I've made it a habit to carry my journal everywhere I go so hopefully when I am bored at work I can go to town with some sketching! It's cold outside so I don't think people will be knocking down the door trying to get some ice cream. It's beginning to feel a lot like christmas!

So today will be an interesting day. I'm going to start my Christmas shopping in between trying to find something to wear to the umpteenth wedding this month! Not to mention the fact that I will be wrapping this day up by working at the ice cream shop! If it's slow I may just end up eating ice cream all night and doodling. It wouldn't be so bad if I weren't supposed to be on a diet! But I guess I can just sketch more and eat less... and drool more! On the plus side it's actually starting to get cold, which I absolutely love!!! So everyone have a great day and do at least one thing that makes you happy today!
